Once you submit an application, your references are checked. When approved, we will contact you and make every effort to match you to an appropriate pet. Since our purpose is to find the best possible Doberman for your situation, we appreciate your patience. When we have a Doberman, we feel can offer what you want in a companion, we will contact you to arrange a meeting. Meanwhile, you may request an initial visit if you want to meet our personal Dobermans (some of whom were once rescue dogs) and discuss any aspect of the adoption process. We also urge you to keep in touch periodically.

Do you need to surrender a doberman?

DPR of PA is here to help you if cannot keep your Doberman. We have a waiting list of people looking to give an adoptable Dobe a home. Fill out the release form and return to Jen Imhoff. We request a $50.00 donation when you release a dog to us or place the dog with someone we refer to you. This donation is tax deductible and will help support our work.
