Danni: emaciated rescue

Danni found her way to us in November, 2009.  She was left in a drop box at a high-kill shelter with 9 hound puppies in Ohio, but thanks to a kind and compassionate dog warden, proper contacts and arrangements were made to get her out of the shelter and into our care.  Her immediate vet examined gave her a clean bill of health, which means she simply was not being fed.  She was named after the Ohio dog warden who recognized a sweet dog and went the extra mile to get her the help she needed and a new life.

After a short time, Danni's life has turned around.  She's gained weight and has been adopted by a wonderful family.  Check out her before and after photos.
