Rock for Reds

Rock for Reds held on January 20, 2007 in loving memory of Caine, "Red Dog," and in honor of Carter.

Rock For Reds was held in New Britian PA, created by Dawn Heckenberger to spread the word that there is hope when traditional medical care can do no more for your pet. Rock For Reds was a success. The story was published in the local newspaper, The Intelligencer, and more than 100 people attended. The event raised $1,101.75. All of which was donated to Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc. The event was filled with information regarding alternative care for animals, a snack bar, raffles, games including a coloring contest, a clay play contest, dog trivia quizzo, the pooper scooper relay, pin the tail on the Doberman and live entertainment by Janine and Mikey V. and also by the Heckenberger band,  the "Red Dog Blues" band.
